Flywire Scholarship for Undergraduates 2023/2024 – Students who have excelled in academic fields such as social justice, environmental sustainability, global health, and global citizenship are recognized with the scholarship. Flywire will double the number of scholarship awards to students from around the world through the Flywire Charitable Foundation this year. The total amount of scholarships now stands at 16.
Flywire Charitable Foundation focuses on providing individuals with access to high-quality education, healthcare, and life experiences. Scholarships are designed to assist students, their parents, and other family members in managing the costs of higher education.
Flywire Scholarship Categories
Students studying the following fields of study are eligible for Flywire Charitable Foundation Scholarships 2023:
- Social Justice
- Global Health
- Global Citizenship
- Environmental Sustainability
Social Justice
Students who have a passion for addressing inequalities systemically and promoting justice are eligible to apply for the Social Justice Scholarship. Social justice issues such as policing and anti-LGBTQ+ laws, religious persecution, sexism racism, sexual violence, and sexism continue to be a major topic in the news. The need for social justice reform has increased. The scholarships are awarded to future leaders committed to eliminating racism, violence, and systemic biases.
Global Health
Students who have a commitment to health promotion and global well-being are recognized with the Global Health Scholarship. The scholarship is designed to help students committed to improving healthcare access in communities with low incomes and reducing health disparities. The scholarship recipients are required to apply their skills and education to promote global health. The recipients may be required to conduct research or advocate for global health issues and to develop innovative solutions in order to improve healthcare outcomes worldwide.
Global Citizenship
Global Citizenship Scholarships recognize students committed to global citizenship, cultural understanding, and the promotion of values. In light of the escalating global conflicts, it’s more important than ever that we elevate humanity in our approach to social, economic, and political issues. Students who are working to promote respect, understanding, and mutual tolerance among diverse people in their community and around the globe will receive scholarships in this category.
Environmental Sustainability
Environmental Sustainability Scholarships recognize students that work hard to preserve the environment, and who pioneer sustainable initiatives. A healthy planet is one of our most valuable resources, but the threats that continue to threaten environmental health are threatening to undermine the livelihood we live. Students who actively work to preserve Earth’s resources and reduce the impact of man-made activities on its environment will receive scholarships in this category. Scholarship
Sixteen total scholarships worth $5,000 USD will be given for the academic year 2023.
Eligibility
Scholarships are available to all undergraduate students, regardless of their major. The applicant must have a Fall 2023 enrollment. The funds cannot be used for future terms.
Students can only apply for one of four categories.
The applicant’s higher education institution must be located in any of the following countries:
